Privacy

This policy covers the public Model Context Protocol server at mcp.pollar.news. For the Pollar apps and website, see the full Pollar privacy policy.

What this server does

The server lets AI assistants read Pollar's published news. It exposes public editorial content only. It has no sign-in, no accounts, and no access to any Pollar user's data. It is read-only and cannot change anything.

What we process

• No accounts, personalisation, cookies, advertising, or behavioural profiles.
• To limit abuse, the MCP process uses the requesting IP address in an in-memory request counter. An inactive entry is removed within two minutes and is never written to persistent storage by the MCP service.
• Tool arguments, such as a search query, are processed only to answer the request. The MCP service does not persist them.

Service providers

Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request metadata to route and protect traffic. Pollar's own infrastructure processes tool arguments to retrieve the requested public news. We do not sell this data or disclose it to advertisers or data brokers.
